Why paid

A small, serious community. No fluff. No farming.

Paid keeps the bar high. It filters for engineers who actually want to build platforms, not collect bookmarks.

~ a sketch of the kind of system we ship recipes for

  • Signal over noise

No newsletter recycling. No engagement farming. Resources are written by engineers shipping platforms, for engineers shipping platforms.

  • Practical implementations

Working code, not architecture diagrams. Every recipe maps to a real production constraint — IAM, cost, latency, lifecycle.

  • Reusable tooling

Drop-in CLIs, Backstage plugins, Actions, and Terraform modules — designed to be forked and adapted, not just admired.

  • Curated quality

We'd rather ship five solid repos than fifty stubs. Everything in the org has been used to solve a real problem.

  • No 'thought leadership'

No takes. No threads. No conference fluff. Just patterns, code, and discussion among practitioners.

  • Direct access

Ask the people building these systems. Implementation reviews, design feedback, and post-mortems — in private.

FAQ

Questions, briefly answered.

If something isn't covered here, email us — we'd rather answer directly than fluff out a help center.

  • 01Is this beginner friendly?
It's targeted at engineers who already work with cloud and CI/CD day-to-day — senior engineers, platform engineers, SREs, and tech leads. You don't need to be an expert in every tool, but the resources assume you're comfortable shipping infrastructure.
  • 02How do I access the repos?
After payment, submit your GitHub username on the success page. You'll be added to the private GitHub organization within 24 hours and receive an invite to the Campfire community.
  • 03Is this a subscription?
No. It's a single one-time payment of $150. No recurring billing, no auto-renewal. You keep access to the community and all current and future resources.
  • 04What technologies are covered?
AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloudflare, Hetzner, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), GitHub Actions, Backstage, Terraform, Pulumi, GitOps tooling, AI tooling (Claude / OpenAI), homelab, and internal developer platforms.
  • 05Will more resources be added?
Yes — new repos, walkthroughs, and patterns are added regularly. Membership includes access to everything that ships in the future.
  • 06Is there a refund policy?
No refunds. This is a private community with immediate access to everything — chat, configs, videos. Once you're in, you're in. Make sure this is for you before joining.
